Where it comes from

You can craft Barbaric Bracers with Leatherworking at skill 130, using the recipe taught by Pattern: Barbaric Bracers. Gather 8 Heavy Leather, 2 Cured Heavy Hide, 4 Small Lustrous Pearls, a Raptor Hide and 4 Large Fangs. It is a wonderfully varied bundle of materials: leather and hide provide the familiar foundation, while pearls and fangs give the workbench a little more character.

What changed in Forever

In Classic Era 1.15.9, these bracers had 4 Spirit and no Strength. In Forever 1.60.1, that allocation goes to Strength instead, and Spirit is removed. The change gives the same named piece a different emphasis, with its replacement bonus pointing toward physical combat.

For you, the important part is the kind of equipment choice that creates. A piece you might have considered for its Spirit now asks to be judged on a more martial footing. It is a focused exchange rather than an extra bonus layered on top: when you weigh these bracers against another pair, the new attribute is the detail worth noticing.

Who should chase it

Combat Rogues and Feral Combat Druids will appreciate the physical focus here. Arms and Fury Warriors, Retribution Paladins and Enhancement Shamans also have reason to consider them.
