New in Forever, Totem of Charged Flames brings a simple pleasure to your spellcasting: spending less mana on spells you want to cast. It is an Uncommon Totem for your Relic slot, with an item level of 10. Its equip effect reduces the mana cost of Flame Shock and Lightning Bolt by 5 Mana. That is its defining feature, a straightforward saving attached to fire and lightning.
There is something satisfying about equipment that works quietly while you get on with the fight. You still choose your target, decide when to cast, and watch the spell land; this totem supports that familiar rhythm without asking for another action. The appeal is in the casting itself, rather than a grand flourish from the equipment. For a player who enjoys those moments, a modest relic can have plenty of character.

Who should chase it
Elemental Shaman will appreciate a relic focused on spells that suit their approach to combat. If your favourite part of playing is choosing a spell and sending it toward your target, this is the sort of equipment worth a closer look. Your interest should follow the spells you actually cast, rather than the colour of the item alone. There is room to enjoy a piece of equipment for a focused job, especially when that job fits the way you like to play.

Did you know?
- It binds when picked up. Finding it comes with a commitment: this is a relic for your own equipment, rather than something to pass along afterward.
- The class restriction is Shaman only. That gives this little totem a clear identity, with its place among the belongings of a particular kind of adventurer.
- Its item class is Armor. The Totem type and Relic slot give it a more specific role within that broader equipment category.
- Firestorm Totem and Tempest Icon are among its related items. Astral Icon, Brimstone Icon, Bulwark Icon, and Clastic Icon are also part of that company.
