There is a quiet satisfaction in making something yourself: gathering what you need, choosing the recipe, and watching the work become a finished bottle. Swiftness Potion brings that small crafting moment to Forever as an Alchemy spell that creates the potion of the same name. For a player who enjoys the preparation as much as the result, the recipe is part of the pleasure.
The spell has a 3 sec cast. That gives the act of crafting a brief pause of its own, a moment between deciding what to make and having it ready. Approach it as a piece of profession work, with the attention on the recipe and the ingredients you bring to it.
How you get it
The recipe requires Alchemy skill 60. If you want to make Swiftness Potion yourself, that is the profession requirement to work toward. Your route here is through crafting: this spell turns its reagents into the finished potion.

Who uses it
This is for players who find enjoyment in the workbench side of an adventure. If you like setting ingredients aside with a particular recipe in mind, there is something welcoming about a craft with a clear shopping list. You do not need a grand occasion to appreciate that rhythm: a little preparation, a deliberate choice, and the satisfaction of making the thing you set out to make.
Did you know?
- You need 1 Swiftthistle for the recipe. Its name makes a fitting companion to the bottle you are preparing, a small bit of character among the ingredients.
- Bring 1 Briarthorn as well. It shares the recipe with Swiftthistle, giving the preparation a distinctly herbal feel before the crafting begins.
- The recipe also calls for 1 Empty Vial. Even with the herbs ready, the humble container deserves a place in your preparations.
