A crusader’s work does not end with the first swing. Seal of the Crusader lets you settle into a brisk melee rhythm, then unleash the Seal’s energy against your enemy. In Forever, the most meaningful change comes at that handoff: the Judgement has more staying power.
Rank 2 grants 51 melee attack power and makes you attack 40% faster, though each attack deals less damage. The cast is Instant and costs 40 Mana. That tradeoff gives the Seal its character: quicker swings, rather than harder individual hits.
How you get it
You learn Seal of the Crusader as a Paladin class ability at level 12. It becomes part of your growing spellbook early, giving you another way to approach the moment you step into melee.
What changed in Forever
In Classic Era, unleashing this Seal judged an enemy for 10 sec. In Forever, that duration becomes 40 sec. The longer window gives you more breathing room when you cannot immediately return to striking your target. A pause in melee is less likely to mean the Judgement has already run its course.
The Holy damage benefit also rises: the enemy previously took up to 30 additional Holy damage, compared with up to 35 now. This is the heart of the change, a Judgement that lasts longer and offers a larger benefit while it remains active. Your decision to unleash the Seal carries more weight beyond the next swing.
