Painwalker Buckler is new in Forever, and it has a welcome proposition for you: carry your spellwork behind a shield. This Rare shield pairs 738 Armor with 13 Healing, 6 Stamina, and 5 Spell Damage. It has a clear appeal if your adventures involve standing your ground while tending to allies. There is something satisfying about equipment that makes room for both sides of that job, letting your choice of shield reflect more than the blows you expect to face.
Its equip effect adds a reactive touch: a 17% chance when struck in combat to gain 12 mana per 5 sec for 10 sec. The trigger puts the emphasis on what happens when trouble reaches you, rather than on another button to press. You may prefer a quiet moment to cast, but this buckler has something to offer when combat refuses to give you one.

Who should chase it
Holy Paladins and Restoration Shamans have the clearest reason to give this buckler a place on their wish list. For you, choosing equipment can be about the allies depending on your next cast as much as the enemy in front of you, and this shield fits that outlook neatly. Elemental Shamans can also appreciate its caster-friendly lean, though its strongest emphasis is on healing. Warriors can use it too, but the overall package speaks more directly to spellcasting roles. Let the work you enjoy doing for your group guide whether you chase it.
