Arcane BlastA familiar blast with a stronger promise

sometimes the appeal of a spell is how little stands between you and its purpose. Arcane Blast is an instant cast that blasts a target for Arcane damage. Its description gets straight to the point, making it an easy spell to understand at a glance.

you can appreciate that kind of simplicity when your attention belongs on the action rather than a lengthy explanation. Forever gives this brief description a meaningful adjustment, and the comparison is where the spell earns a closer look.

What changed in Forever

Classic Era 1.15.9 describes the spell this way: “Blasts a target for 70 Arcane damage.” Forever 1.60.1 changes that to: “Blasts a target for 84 Arcane damage.” Description reworded is the change, with the increase carried by the damage amount itself.

for you, that means the updated text promises a harder hit. Both versions describe the same direct action against a target, so the comparison does not require a long explanation to make its point. Read them side by side and your eye goes straight to the part that matters: how much damage the blast promises to deliver. A compact description can still carry a worthwhile difference, especially when you prefer your offensive spells to make their intentions clear.

Who uses it

players who enjoy direct offensive magic have something to appreciate here. There is a particular satisfaction in choosing an attack whose purpose is immediately clear, then returning your attention to the encounter. If that is the experience you enjoy, the stronger damage description gives this spell a welcome bit of extra appeal without making its explanation more elaborate.
